Bangalore Metro fares depend on the token and the distance travelled. Fares generally range between Rs 10 and Rs 45. Bangalore Metro fares are divided into three types:
- Token (Ticket): Tokens can be purchased for Rs 10 to Rs 50. This ticket is best for a one-time trip on the Bangalore Metro.
- Group Tickets: You can buy group tickets if at least 25 people are traveling together. But the group must go to the same place. Tokens offer a ten percent discount on the fare.
- Smart Card: Smart cards can be used every time. These cards can be purchased for Rs 50, and they can be loaded up to Rs 3000. Metro riders get a 5% discount on tokens.
