Chandigarh International Airport Launch Three New Flights – Know More Details Here

Three new flights starts from Chandigarh International Airport. According to the latest schedule, new flights to Jammu, Dharamshala and Delhi starts from 2nd April. With the launch of the new flight, passengers will now be able to reach Dharamshala from Chandigarh in just five hours.

Passengers have the facility to go to Jammu, Dharamshala and Delhi from Chandigarh Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport. Three new flight services will start at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport from Tuesday, April 2. This includes flights to Jammu, Dharamshala and Delhi. Passengers can reach Jammu and Dharamshala in 45 minutes, and the fare on this distance is Rs 3400 to Rs 4500.

Three new flights have been announced by the Airport Authority of India. Chandigarh-Sharjah international flights, which were stopped in October last year, will resume in May. The new flights will operate from April to October 26.

Rajesh Ranjan, Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh International Airport Limited, said that the Sharjah flight has been restarted every Tuesday and Thursday. The flights were to resume from this month, but due to some arrangements this has been done. Apart from this, two new flights have been started in Dharamshala and Jammu. Air India operates a flight to Sharjah twice a week. As per plan, the flight will depart at 6:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. At present Chandigarh-Dubai flight will operate 7 days a week. The restructuring of the Sharjah service will provide two new links to the city.

IndiGo has decided to run direct flights from Dharamshala to Jammu four times a week. Also, tickets for these flights will start from ₹3200. With which passengers will be able to reach Dharamshala and Jammu in one hour. This flight will depart from Chandigarh Airport at 12:45 pm and reach at 1:50 pm. There will be a direct flight to Jammu three times a week, the total time of which will be 55 minutes. It will take a total of five minutes to reach Jammu from Chandigarh. The ticket for this is ₹3300.

Domestic flights added 22 flights, taking the total arrivals on the current routes to 96, the Airport Authority of India said. These include four flights to Delhi, three to Srinagar and one each to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Dharamshala and Jaipur. Chandigarh airport already has direct connectivity to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chennai, Patna, Pune and Srinagar. There are mainly four airlines: IndiGo, Vistara, Air India and Alliance Air.
